Rockville Women’s Center is a safe place. For over 35 years, thousands of women and their partners have trusted RWC for evidence-based medical education and services to help them make decisions about their pregnancy and pursue a healthy future.
In your appointment, we will walk you through your options, listen to your questions and concerns, and provide you with evidence-based medical education and support. We want to support you in making your best choice. Our caring staff listen well and care about you. Our services are free of charge.
The abortion procedures are based on how far along you are in your pregnancy. Below are the most common:
- Medication abortion, also known as the abortion pill, includes two drugs: mifepristone and misoprostol.
- Suction dilation and curettage (D&C)
- Dilation and evacuation (D&E)
- Dilation and extraction (D&X)
- Intact dilation and extraction (IDE)
It is important to know what is involved in each procedure. How will each one effect your body? What are the risks and complications associated with each procedure? You will have time during your consultation to consider abortion and your options and to think through how they may affect you.

Rockville Women Center has been a great resource since the beginning of my motherhood journey. I started coming when I initially got my pregnancy confirmed at 6 weeks back in March of 2023 and now I have a beautiful 8 month old and have received many donations and support that have alleviated a lot of stress from me. The parenting classes provide a lot of insight and guidance. The staff is also so friendly and pleasant. La Toya, Karla and Amanda always make me feel welcome and I appreciate them so much! I’m so happy I made the decision to come here.

I meant to come here and leave review. And how incredible these people are and the support and resources they offering and actually benefits our communities not like the death org that we all know that wants the opposite instead. These sweet people pour into you, care for well being and for your baby, and they cherish life. And I just want to thank each one of them for everything they offering to all the new moms and specially the scared ones, God bless you and your organization for life changing help you provide with your whole heart!And any bad comments here are literally people that are angry with God and those that don't get their choice to kill innocent life, which is just heartbreaking.

I went here for my pregnancy test in the year 2019,the workers were helpful, kind ,loving very good services. My daughter is now 4 years old.God bless you all. I Still rate this organization 5 🌟 in this year 2022 after getting the help I needed 🙏. while pregnant with my second child. I’m so glad I visited this place it made me rethink my decision about keeping my child when I first saw my ultrasound, and Mrs Amy is so kind she guided me the right direction and has been there for me throughout my whole pregnancy, she always checks up on me and my child to make sure my child doesn’t need anything such as diapers wipes etc and when I do she’ll let me know so I can come to the center and get some stuff if I need it. I love the resources she gives me they’re so helpful! I would highly recommend coming to this center Mrs Amy is the best.

Finding this center was an absolute blessing! I came here to confirm my pregnancy and LaToya & Amy helped me feel heard and truly supported. I only had two appointments with them and was so sad when they released me to OB/prenatal care…but I still stay in contact with them and can’t wait to visit when my baby is born. I’ll remember the care and support I felt from them for a long time to come.

When I went to the RWC I was greeted and made to feel very calm while having just gone through a traumatic last 2 years I had also gone while grieving the death of my sister. The staff was amazing so kind and so professional, I was prayed for and made to feel very comfortable respected and very confident with my decision to keep my baby. Keeping her was the best decision I have ever made and I do not have any regrets.

Everyone was very helpful and guided me through everything I needed to do and know with my first pregnancy. They made me feel like I was in a very safe place too. I only had 2 appointments with them and they work very fast and really care about everyone. This was my favorite place to be at the beginning of my pregnancy!!

I had the best experience here! From the first phone call to the actual visit everyone was extremely helpful. I felt very safe, I was able to open up and they provided all the knowledge I needed. I was also able to get an ultrasound which then I was told I was 8 weeks pregnant!! Best place ever, my baby boy was and still is so loved by everyone at RWC!

I had a friend refer me to this clinic back in 2017 when I first found out I was pregnant, I was a first time mom and didn’t know what to expect. My experience at RWC was just amazing til this day. They were great and so caring, even my husband went with me and he was pleased with the experience. Now in 2020, when I least expected with all the madness going on in the world, they followed up with me after some time and asked how my son and I were, and I could not thank them enough for everything they have done for me. The most kind hearted and caring I have ever experienced in my life. God bless the whole team and continue making a difference in not only women’s life but the whole family/partner.

I would definitely recommend RWC if you are feeling confused about what to do with an unplanned pregnancy and specially if you don't want anyone to know until you have made your decision. RWC HELPED me so much, the staff was caring and they never judged me in any way, they gave me all my options never pushed me in anyway to make a decision. Instead they made sure to give me all the information I needed to make the right decision for me and my baby. Amy was the best I remember she offered if i wanted to have a sonogram (By the way all the services they provide are FREE of charge to moms.... God bless them) . I of Couse said yes and it was that moment during the sonogram that i knew i had came to the right place for support. The staff from the center are all very friendly and follow up with you during the pregnancy to see how you are doing . My lil one is now 23 months and i cant imagine my life without him. I thank God for guiding me to the right place I know what it feels like to be confused, depressed even mad at yourself in a way for not knowing what to do. RWC is the place to go for support. Thank you so much RWC for being part of my Family.Love you guys!

Sometimes you need a friend outside of your normal circle and that, I found in the staffs here. I’ll never forget the day I heard my daughters heartbeat for the first time here at RWC. Fear almost cheated me out of what is now the best thing that has ever happened to me. Thank you to all the staff at RWC for helping me rise above that fear. Today my daughter is 6 months old and the life I thought would end, really just began.

I would highly recommend this health center to any woman who is in need of information, has questions, or wants to be treated with the absolute best care without being judged. My experience here was absolutely phenomenal. My nurse Amy and advocate Cassy’s number one concern was my well being and made sure all my questions were answered. This is without a doubt the best care I could have received and I’m so thankful I found this place!

13 months ago I didn't think I could get pregnant, when I went to RWC I was in an awkward situation and I needed help. Immediately the ladies treated me with love and respect. There were hard questions and decisions to be made but they held my hand, literally and figuratively. I got free ultrasounds, lots of information on abortion, adoption, and pregnancy. They helped my find an OB and they kept in contact with me the following months. Now, my daughter is 4 months old and we have visited twice since she was born because the ladies have become part of our family. When I couldn't turn to anyone else they were there for me. RWC made my first trimester so much easier and I am so grateful. Before the office closed today I donated some newborn clothes, unopened diapers, and formula. As they do with anyone in need, they asked if there was anything we needed and gave us diapers in her size and one size up.If you are pregnant and you need confirmation, information about your options, or support, they will be there for you. They offer free ultrasounds and can give you an official pregnancy confirmation but they are not a medical office. I highly reccomend making an appointment on their website and visit. They will help you to the best of their ability and be there for you every step of the way.I appreciate them so much for everything they did for me.

I came here feeling desperate and feeling uncomfortable about my pregnancy due to my relation ship with my boyfriend. I was looking for an advise. I was thinking to have and abortion and the lady’s at the center gave me options like having my baby, abort or give in adoption.After have my sonogram for free ( NO CHARGE ) and hear my baby heart I decide to keep my baby. I am already 35 and having an abortion can cause some side effects and one of those is not able to get pregnant again so I took the best decision ever for me and my baby and I will have my little treasure.Thank you so much to the lady’s at these place they made me feel very comfortable and I didn’t felt any pressure at all. They also gave me a gift it was a little stone paint in blue with the word brave :).I recomend these place to everybody who is concern about having an abortion because they can help you to see the whole panorama.

Just wow! These folks are helping women and men with just about everything you can think of to support pregnant mothers, families, and single parents of newborns. They provide support, baby supplies, sonograms, education, career training, etc... All in confidence and at no fee by professionals.
