Rockville Women’s Center provides free, medical, ethical, and compassionate care to women facing unplanned pregnancies in and around Montgomery County. We care about the information you hear, the attention you receive, and the support you receive which is why we make it our top priority to provide all of these with great responsibility. There are a few things every woman wonders when she faces an unplanned or untimely pregnancy and we want to make sure you know all of the facts.

Your Options

There are several choices every woman will face when the pregnancy test turns positive. Granted, there are multiple reasons for a positive pregnancy test other than a viable pregnancy. You may feel that you have no other choice than to terminate your pregnancy. When it comes to an unplanned pregnancy, you have three options; abortion, parenting, and adoption. All of these options are difficult, but you are not alone in the process. We will provide you with the information you need to make a confident and informed decision for your pregnancy.

You Are Not Alone

Your situation is unique, as is the story you are writing, but you are not alone in the journey. At Rockville Women’s Center, we are here to support, encourage, and provide excellent care, as well as accurate and unbiased information to each patient that walks through our door. At our center, you will receive professional care about your pregnancy.  A nurse will review your options with you as well as answer any questions you may have. At the Rockville Women’s Center, we do not financially profit from the decision you make about your pregnancy. Allow yourself to take a moment to pause so that you can make the best choice for YOU!

First Steps

Pregnancy tests are not always accurate and can give a false reading for several reasons. The only way to accurately confirm a pregnancy is through a sonogram. The best first step is to come in for our free pre-abortion consultation. Before scheduling your abortion, think about the three important questions you need to have answered. Am I really pregnant? How far along in the pregnancy am I? Why is it important to know if I have an STD? At the Rockville Women’s Center, we will provide a pregnancy test, sonogram, and limited STD testing so that you can confidently answer these questions about your pregnancy. No one should walk this road alone, and at Rockville, you don’t have to. You have options; you have someone in your corner. If you are seeking an abortion and want to learn more about the options available to you, schedule an appointment so you can make an empowered and educated decision that is right for you.
